ySense Review: Frustrating at first but got better

My honest ySense review

I tested ySense myself to see if it's BS or legit. Tired of sites promising easy money then wasting your time? Me too. That's why I signed up for this survey site to check if it's worth it.

ySense used to be called ClixSense before they changed their name. It's one of those places where you do simple stuff like surveys and small tasks to earn cash. Nothing fancy, just basic work you can do from your couch.

Finding real money-making sites online is hard. Too many fake ones out there making crazy promises. This platform seems different though - it's been around a while and lots of people use it.

My review tells you exactly what you can expect. How much money you might make. What payment options they got. And if it's actually worth your time or if you should look somewhere else.

What is ySense?

ySense pays real money. Got cash from them myself many times.

Started as a click-ads site back in 2007 called ClixSense. Those clicks paid pennies - total waste of time. I always skipped that junk and did their surveys instead.

Mid-2017 they dropped the whole clicking thing. Smart move. That business looked shady to most people anyway.

They switched names to ySense in 2019. Kept most stuff the same but moved to a new web address and added some extras.

Their updates since then? Pretty decent. Nothing amazing, but they keep making small improvements.

Just cuz they pay doesn't mean you'll like it. Gotta check what they offer first - surveys, tasks, and other ways to earn. Then decide if it fits what you're looking for.

Share your opinion and get paid

Gimme a second to tell you about the no-brainer money on ySense. That tiny daily poll at the bottom of their survey page? One penny for clicking a button. Takes 3 seconds. Do it daily.

Most people miss the extra survey sections. They hide below the regular surveys. ySense keeps adding new survey companies there. Tons more chances to make cash if you bother looking.

Pay jumps between surveys like crazy. Some give ok money, others... complete waste of time. I've tried ySense with GG2U, Branded Surveys and CashInStyle - those others pay better sometimes.

One thing that drives me crazy - you'll answer questions for 5 minutes then get kicked out. Happens on all these sites though, not just ySense. They love getting your data then saying "nah, not what we wanted."

After using it awhile, you notice patterns. Some surveys always want you, others never do. Skip the time-wasters.

Surveys earn you more than anything else on ySense. They work with loads of survey companies, so something's usually waiting. Better than watching stupid videos for pennies.

Make Money With ySense Offers

ySense paid offers can put extra cash in your pocket without much work. This section gives you ways to earn by doing simple tasks. You pick from different partner offers, do what they ask, and get paid.

What can you do? Try new products, download apps, sign up for banking stuff, play games, join websites, watch videos, get free trials, or enter contests. You can see exactly what each offer needs and how much it pays before you start.

ySense beats other sites by giving you more offer walls. They kept the good ones from when they were ClixSense, ditched the bad ones, and added new options. They say they'll keep adding more.

Your earnings change based on what offers you pick. Some pay just pennies while others give you serious cash. I check back often to grab the high-paying ones when they show up.

Watch out for offers asking for your credit card or making you buy something. I skip those unless I planned to buy that thing anyway. Always read the rules first so you know exactly what you need to do to get paid.

Some offers have great terms and take minutes to finish. Others waste your time with too many steps. Pick wisely and you'll make more money with less hassle.

Watch videos and earn money

ySense came up with this brilliant little scheme where they pay you pennies for your eyeballs. Literally 2-3 cents if you sit through about 7-10 vids. Not exactly retirement money but beats most video watching gigs out there.

Pick whatever vids interest you. They got all sorts of topics so you won't melt from boredom. A small timer shows when you can move to the next one. Watch til you finish the set and a few cents drop into your account. Simple as that.

One tiny issue—it only works if you're in the US right now. Rest of us have to wait til they roll it out worldwide. Can't see it when you log in? That's why.

Not in the US but still fancy earning pennies for watching random stuff? Find something called Adscend in the offerwall section. Similar setup, similar tiny pay, but it works anywhere. I tried it myself once... those pennies add up... eventually.

Mobile games online

ySense lets you pocket serious cash while playing phone games, way more than most gaming apps offer. I've tried loads of these money-making platforms, and most give you pennies, but ySense pays between $1-$50 just for reaching game levels or playing enough hours.

Their requirements hit harder than other apps though. You need to put in proper time and effort for those bigger payouts. Fair trade I reckon, especially if you already waste time on games that pay absolutely nothing.

Games like Solitaire Cube and Bingo Cash tend to pay better than Match Masters or Merge Dragons. I fancy Scrabble most - decent money and doesn't make me feel like my brain's turning to mush while earning.

Always read the small print under each offer. Nothing worse than grinding away for hours then finding out you missed some tiny detail.

If you want more game choices, Mistplay, Gamehag, or Pawns have bigger libraries but smaller payouts. Your choice if you prefer variety or better money.

Refer your friends and earn

Cash for making your mates sign up sounds fab, but ySense ain't exactly throwing money at ya. If I'm honest, programs like Honeygain, Swagbucks or InboxDollars with their $5 sign up bonuses beat this one hands down.

ySense gives you a measly $0.30 when someone you invite actually does something on the site. Some poor souls from certain countries only get $0.10 per person... that's properly stingy.

Things perk up a bit when your friend makes their first $5 - you pocket an extra $2. Not mind-blowing, I guess.

You grab 20% of whatever surveys or offers your friends complete. They don't lose any cash... at least ySense got that right.

If you somehow convince 100 people to actively use this thing in a month, your cut jumps to 30%. Good luck with that one, love.

What is the Daily Checklist Bonus?

ySense throws an extra 16% cash your way just for ticking off a few boxes. Proper brilliant if you ask me. Most survey sites can't be bothered to reward loyalty but this one's different.

Getting the first 12% is simple. Do 2 surveys or 2 offers in a day. Can't manage that? Mix it with 1 survey and 1 offer. Boom - money in your account when the day's done.

Your account page shows how close you are to getting paid. No guessing games here. You always know where you stand.

Want an extra 2%? Get their browser addon. Works with Chrome Firefox and Edge now. Keep it running for an hour on bonus day and that's it. Plus it pings you when new stuff shows up so you don't waste time checking.

Last 2% comes from not being flaky. Complete the checklist 3 days straight and it's yours. Miss a day and you're back to square one though. Bit harsh but fair enough.

Let's be real - most survey sites treat you like a number not worth the extra effort. ySense actually bothers to reward people who stick around. Mad concept innit?

How do you get paid?

ySense dumps cash in your lap for clicking buttons on your screen. Fill out surveys. Play dumb games. Download apps. All this busy work adds up to real dollars.

I still laugh when I think about the old ClixSense days. They made you wait forever and cash out through weird services nobody used. PayPal wasn't even an option back then! Ridiculous.

PayPal changed everything. You only need $10 to cash out now. Bit of a slog to reach that mark though. The site's kinda stingy with payouts if I'm honest.

Gift cards might suit you better. Amazon needs just $5 (€1 for German Amazon - lucky them). They've got Steam cards too but mostly for Europeans. Rest of us aren't so lucky.

Want actual money instead of gift cards? Go with Payoneer, AirTM or Skrill. They work just fine.

Most survey cash hits your account straight away. The big money ones (look for red flags) need checking first. Makes sense – they don't wanna pay top dollar without making sure you didn't rush through it.

App downloads and offers take longer. You'll wait 5-15 minutes to see that cash. ySense counts in actual dollars now instead of those stupid "Clixcents" from before. Much easier to track what you're earning.

After you hit cash out? Expect 3-5 days before money lands in your account. Not instant like some places but not terrible either.

How much money can you make?

ySense deposits actual money in your account, but the amount entirely depends on what you fancy doing. Proper shocker, that.

The clever move? Grab that 16% daily bonus without fail. Pop in, tick off your checklist items, and collect extra cash for minimal effort. Basic strategy, loves.

Survey rewards generally match the brain cells required. The tasks can boost your earnings too—outperform the competition and you'll snag a slice of the weekly prize pot. I always do.

Some offers pay surprisingly well, others are absolute rubbish. You'll spot the difference fast enough.

Keep your expectations in check. This won't replace your proper job. Those dreaming of full-time income inevitably ghost the site and earn precisely nothing. Just a bit of extra spending money, not your career path.

Can you use ySense on mobile?

ySense works great on phones and tablets for making extra cash on the go. I've tried both ways - the app and their website on my phone browser.

I got the app on my iPhone but you can get it on Android too. Just go to the App Store or Google Play and put in "ySense" to find it.

The app gives you stuff you can't get on their normal site. I love that I see surveys faster before they fill up. And there's this thing called playtime reward that's only on the app. Pretty sweet perk if ya ask me.

I use it when I'm stuck waiting for things. Sitting at the doctor's office... boom, I open the app. On the train... I pull out my phone and make a few bucks. Better than just scrolling through social media, ya know?

Gotta say they did a decent job making the app work well. Not perfect but way better than most money-making apps I've tried. It doesn't crash on me much.

Some of my friends don't like getting too many apps on their phones. That's fine too. The ySense website works OK on mobile browsers if you'd rather not download anything.

ySense Tips That Work

ySense cash tips coming your way darlings! Not millionaire money but every penny counts

Weekends on ySense? Total ghost town. Survey numbers crash Saturday and Sunday. Sign up during weekend? Don't worry about empty screens. Big holidays... same situation.

Check the site multiple times daily. Surveys pop up and vanish fast. Get their browser add-on... saves you logging in all day.

Surveys kick you out all the time. I've wasted hours clicking through just to get rejected. Proper maddening. Your age and location decide which ones take you. I've figured out how to grab more surveys than most. Bit of strategy goes a long way. You'll learn which ones want your opinions soon enough.

Stick with these tricks. Your balance grows bit by bit. Not quitting-job money... but enough for some nice extras.

Can you get help?

ySense gives some of the best support I've seen from survey sites.

They built a forum where users help each other out. ySense staff jumps in too. They got forums in many languages, not just English. So you can chat in whatever language works for you.

When you log in, you see messages about updates, changes, or special offers. They keep you in the loop. I like that they don't leave you guessing.

They say it might take up to 10 business days to answer you. Sounds proper ridiculous! But they usually get back faster. I've messaged them several times. I got quick replies. Sometimes you wait a bit though. Hope they speed this up as they improve.

ySense has support that really works. Other survey sites should take notes.

Is ySense Worth It?

Finding real money-making sites that work all over is super rare, but ySense got that right. You can join from almost anywhere, not like those other sites that lock out half the world.

I've tried loads of these survey things and ySense isn't fake. Got paid myself several times. Real cash in my account - not empty promises like most online stuff.

You'll see it's super easy to use. They keep adding more ways for you to earn, which helps when you're broke and need extra cash like me sometimes. Won't make you rich - these survey sites pay tiny bits for your time - but ySense beats most others.

Added this one to my top picks cause it works without problems. When you need quick money without stress, try it out. The pay isn't huge but it comes through.

Don't stick with just one site though. Try ySense plus others you spot. Your bank account will tell you which ones are worth it.
